A tale

Once upon a time, there lived a small girl with an empty heart and hollow eyes. 

She was all alone in her castle. 

But she had a doll that played and danced with her. 

She never allowed her doll to enjoy things outside or to befriend anyone else. 

Her doll longed to see the outside world. But was scared of the small girl with an empty heart and hollow eyes. 

She was told by her mother fairy, that the world was full of vices and evil and gazing out and befriending the people of the world was a sin deserving death. 

One day her doll looked out of the window to see the beautiful world outside. 

Seeing her doll doing so, she grabbed her doll and plucked off both its eyes... 

Her doll screamed in gloom as to why she did so... 

The small girl with an empty heart and hollow eyes said its because her eyes made her sin... It should be removed

The cute doll felt sad and whimpered all night long... 

The next day the cute doll was walking down the stairs when she heard few cries from outside... The doll rushed out and saw a small boy fallen in a ditch. She reached out to him and saved him. He was shocked to realize she had no eyes but was touched by her actions. 

The small girl with an empty heart and hollow eyes was watching all these things from her balcony.... She screamed at the boy making him run... She rushed out in rage and grabbing the doll she tore its hands and legs. 

The doll whimpered as to why she did so... She shouted saying that it's her hands and legs that made her sin. So they need to be pulled out. 

Deprived of all bodily support the young doll whimpered and screamed in fright and gloom. 

The next day, the small girl with an empty heart and hollow eyes was taken aback to realise her doll had burst out due to night long cries and screams. The small girl cried... Her empty heart made her cry... Her hollow eyes welled up in tears that reflected the sun's rays. 

She constantly cried saying if only you listened and never sinned. 

Just then a witch appeared from nowhere and touched the girl. 

The girl felt the witch appeared to take the doll's soul but the witch replied it had come to take the small girl's soul... 

She cried: but why? The witch replied... The doll was deprived of all her body parts but it's soul continues to yearn for life.. So it will not be taken but the girl's soul lacked all affection and compassion for the doll and took away her chance to realize beauty and happiness. 

The girl cried. The witch told her: "if only you allowed the doll to move out, you could have learned a lot from her about the world outside. All that you feel and consider as sin may not be sin in true sense. They might be chances to explore and learn."

It continued: "you need to distinguish between sins, do what you wish to and if you fail, learn from it and grow rather than pluck out the parts of your body... Gather yourself up and live on... That's what you need to have done. But you never did nor let the doll live."

"The doll's death made your heart experience pain, it would have completed your soul, if only you let it be and live life on its own terms."

"People can in fact be sources of new life and experience for you. Live and let live. You need to experience both the good and vice of the world around you, only then would you grow otherwise you would always remain a small girl lacking soul." 

"Locking yourself up in the castle, from worries and pain of this world would only make you a dead soul lacking growth. " 

This was what you should have realized but it's too late... Your soul lacked compassion.... 

Saying this the witch took the girl's soul away. 

... The witch gathered the parts of the doll's body and gave the doll the girl's life. 

The doll danced in joy and danced down the valley, met the boy and they danced together

The witch laughed seeing the doll dance 

"Its better to now live... As you have almost started to grow your soul."

Saying this aloud... The witch disappeared into thin air. 

The doll girl and the boy danced down the valley into the world of both good and vice... To grow their souls and live a fruitful life ahead. 

And they lived happily ever after....
